BESPOKE STATIONERY

Below, youʼll find some items you may want to consider when designing your invitation suite and the process of our Design journey outlined.

CUSTOM wedding stationery

You’ve been planning your wedding down to every last detail, Pinterest boards brimming with gorgeous inspiration for the perfect invitations to send to your guests - sound familiar?

Choosing to ‘go Bespoke’ gives us the opportunity to work together and create a stationery suite completely unique to you both & your love story. Your wedding day is one of a kind, so why shouldn’t your invitations reflect that too? As every aspect is designed especially for you, choosing to tailor make your wedding stationery allows for you to express your personality and set the tone for your guests, in advance of the Big Day, using personalised calligraphy, luxury paper stocks and printing methods, with hand finished details.

WHAT SHOULD I INCLUDE in my stationery suite?

Whilst there are no rules to what you ‘should’ include in your invitation suite, here are some elements you may want to consider:

SAVE THE DATE

These can be especially useful for guests if your wedding is abroad, in high season or guests are travelling a distance or simply because they need to book time off work. Not only do they build anticipation in the lead up to your wedding day, but it allows you to relax while planning the details for the day whilst safe in the knowledge that your guests have that all important date in their diaries.

RSVP CARDS

This return post will confirm the attendance of guests at your wedding day and can also be used to gather additional information such as dietary requirements or menu choices. You may opt to further personalise your RSVP by including your guests’ names, including return addressed envelopes or choosing a double sided postcard design to make getting those all important replies back, that much easier. Alternatively, you may decide to use a wedding website for your guests to respond digitally.

INVITATIONS

As well as being beautiful, your invitation cards will have all important information your guests will need for your wedding day, such as: your names, the wedding venue, wedding date and ceremony time. If you’re inviting guests to your evening reception, you may want to consider having the invitation design altered to reflect this.

ENVELOPES, PRINTED OR CALLIGRAPHY ENVELOPES

Changing the colour of your envelopes can really inject your personality and theme of the day. Printed envelopes are great if you don’t enjoy hand cramp or are not keen on your handwriting. Calligraphy adds a lux and yet personal feel to your envelopes.

DETAILS INSERT

This is where you can divulge the ‘ins and outs’ of your big day to your guests including helpful information such as, accommodation, transport options, parking at the venue, your preferred dress code and information on any associated events.

EMBELLISHMENTS

Adding wax seals, ribbons or thread can really make your invitation suite have that bit more personality. These extras add an extra dimension in style and textures. Envelope Liners can also give extra impact when guests are opening the envelopes.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1 - Get in touch

Whether via the Bespoke Stationery Form or directly emailing, the first step is to contact me, giving as much detail as you can at this stage in your planning, for example, what stationery you are interested in, wedding date, guest numbers

STEP 2 - Consultation

To find out more about your ideas for your invitation suite and you, as a couple, I always like to start with a phone call. We’ll discuss your options, printing methods and also the design process and what to expect.

STEP 3 - Booking

Having had our chat, I will send over a price quote for you to approve and once you’re ready to book your stationery, a deposit of 50% of your initial invoice cost is due at this time to secure your spot on my schedule.

STEP 4 - Design

Here comes the fun part! I will spend time putting together initial concept sketches for you to approve and with your chosen design concept, I will then provide you with PDF proofs for you to proof read and approve or change as required.

STEP 5 - Final Approval

Once I receive final approval for your invitation suite, you will receive a final invoice before your stationery is sent to print.

STEP 6 - Paper goods to go!

Your stationery will be lovingly hand finished and assembled (optional) before being packaged with care and sent to you via Royal Mail special delivery or courier.

I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU to make your wedding day incredibly special!

Do not hesitate to email with any questions you might have. Thank you! Please note, for bespoke design you will need to allow at least 8-10 weeks from ordering to receiving your paper goods.
